The best way to experience the beauty and history of St Andrews local heritage is to come along to the Museum and have a wander around. Our opening days and times vary with the seasons, so please check before you travel. Guided tours of the museum can be provided by arrangement – call us on to arrange.
There is no admission charge to the museum and garden unless otherwise stated for a specific event or exhibition. We are an independent, self-funded museum and rely on donations to cover museum operating costs. Please consider supporting our work by making a donation.
Free on-street parking is available at the east end of North Street from the Younger Hall to the Cathedral, along the Scores and down the Pends. There are two disabled parking bays directly opposite the museum. Please check local street signage for parking charges.
Unfortunately, the museum is not fully accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Access to the garden however can be arranged. There is also limited space for prams due to the layout of the building. For further details check our Accessibility Statement.
